I hate Brannon, Braga, and UPN
Just watched the last 2 eps Enterprise. I'm not happy.
Don't click until you've seen the eps, because it has MAJOR BIG TIME SPOILERS and is a rant.
About 'Terra Prime':
Baby Elizabeth Tucker was adorable, and even though I very much prefer Trip/Hoshi to Trip/T'Pol, I liked T/T's scenes in the ep. Trip crying when he talked to T'Pol at the end was heartwrenching.
Now, about 'These Are The Voyages...':
I'm literally sobbing. Started as soon as Trip pulled out the wire thing and said he had to connect it to something inside the panel. I KNEW it was a trick and that was it. And I hate it.
Not totally though. I'm glad that if Trip had to die, he died heroically. It's the best way for him to go out. I also loved his line to the bad guys: "One more thing I have to tell you. You cna all go to hell." Classic Trip. He went out with a bang, no pun intended.
But I wish it hadn't happened at all.
I loved the montage of Chef/Riker tlakign to the main cast about Trip, especially Malcolm and Hoshi's parts. Re-enforced my thinking that Malcolm and Trip are the REAL best friends on Enterprise. And Hoshi's comments that Trip never went to college and learned engineering fixing boats was an interesting tidbit I plan on working into a fic (An AU where Trip is alive because I don't wanna think of him dead). I also loved Hoshi's comment that Trip barely spoke English, it was cute...
You can ask my mom though, when Trip was put into the hyperbarric chamber and ti went to commercial, I went back to mom's room, crawled up on her bed beside her, laid my head down on her stomach and cried. I mean, it's TRIP! I've loved him since the beginning. I still remember when he scraped the shuttlepod against the underside of the Enterprise in the pilot. And when he was pregnant. And Trip and Malcolm in Shuttlepod 1, thinking they were gonna die. And Trip and Malcolm on Risa. Trip's grief over his sister's death... I miss Trip already.
I also have more and more fanfic ideas popping up for Enterprise. I need to write some Enterprise fic again. I got like partway done with the next one in my Trip/Hoshi series, then stopped writing...
New Icons in honor of Enterprise, all Enterprise Icons. 1 Trip/Hoshi icon, and 2 Trip/Malcolm icons. They aren't spoilery, although if you watched the finale already, you'll 'get' my default one.
I'll post again soon, non-Enterprise related stuff for my non-Enterprise fan friends. I jsut can't think of anything but Enterprise at the moment.
