(no subject)

I'm sure at least one of you remembers me talking in the past about a World War II AU story I was working on...

I've been trying to gather as much information as possible to make it accurate, but... would anyone mind if I strayed from fact a bit? Like played with timelines a little, fictionalized certain events? I've been trying to get info on a few specific things, but there's very little data I can find, and it's driving me crazy because I want to write this thing NOW but I keep getting bogged down in getting the details factually accurate...

Basically, what I'm asking is, will anyone mind if I have a POW camp escape that didn't happen in real life? If I have POW's interacting with Concentration camp victims more than they may have in truth? (I know some POWs and Concentration Camp victims WERE forced to work together to build a Nazi weapons factory, but I can't seem to find out how much they interacted outside of the actual work)

Anyway, input would be greatly appreciated...
