First, my mom turned in her application for a different job at UW, one that pays more but has less stress. She could end up being paid HUNDREDS of $$ more than she is now depending on what pay it is, but no matter what it's more money.
I took the test to get my Learner's Permit. 25 questions, I got 21 of them right. I passed and now have my Learner's Permit. Now if Mama can just get the time to let me practice driving, I'll be good! lol Maybe soemtime tomorrow...
It's basically a done deal. For my 21st B-Day (Exactly 3 weeks from today!) I will almost definitely be getting a DVD player! lol
When we got home, there were updates availabel from Microsoft. We downloaded them. We installed them. And the updates then kept us from being able to connect to the net. Or take a look at our Anti-Virus program to see if there was a virus causing the problem. I was freaking out. Then mom suggested we try uninstalling the updates. i did, and it worked. All is good now. People on my friends list with Windows XP (And feel free to pass it on to your friends if you wish) be careful about downloading and installing the Windows XP Service Pack 2. I don't know what the deal is, but... as soon as it was gone the problems were fixed.
My GH Dream Spoilers Project is going pretty good. I'm handling the Webber, Spencer, Cassadine, and Corinthos related spoilers, Riley has come up with some GREAT Brooke Lynn/Lucas, GQ, and WSB related spoilers. They started with today's ep, but of course my version is probably way different (I missed the ep while out with my mom). I'm thinking of writing a fic based on the events in these Dream Spoilers, and if I do then I'll write each Chapter as an Episode, and use the spoilers as previews for the next 'Ep'.
Ona not so good note: Yesterdya evening there was a deadly pile-up on I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie. The paper this morning said 1 dead, 34 injured. The death toll had risen to 5 by about 11 this morning. One guy... all they found was his arm. The rest of him was crushed within the cab of his truck. If you believe in prayer, please pray for the people who were injured, the families of the dead and injured, and for the dead themselves.
